Our goal is to bridge the gap between dementia caregivers. Each week, we’ll feature personal stories from caregivers as well as news on therapeutic and drug discovery. Why? We’re facing a looming public health crisis: the rising number of people with dementia, doubling every 20 years, due to global aging. Currently, there are approximately 47 million people with dementia in the world, the great majority of whom are cared for by family members. As with most late-in-life cognitive degenerative diseases, few treatments are available.
